Corsica - Ajaccio
A small island governed by France. We visited this while on our cruise with Queen Anne. Definitely an island that could benefit from a closer look.
France
St Tropez - When I first visited this town it was supposed to be the playground of the stars but I did not see any. They have a wonderful beach there and the town is very old. We went there again as a family in the motor home but on that occasion the weather was dull and it was raining, such a contrast.
Gibraltar

Holland - Amsterdam
This picture shows one of the canals in this city. The city has many canals and is a very busy place.
Italy - Venice
This is the famous St Marks Square at night and below during the day. When we got there we could not moor alongside as we were too big so we anchored out and had a small boat take us in.
Venice is an incredible place which is covered with canals. You can hire a gondola to go up and down the canals or even a water taxi. If you prefer you can just walk as most of Venice is accessible by foot using the many bridges.

Malta
This picture means a lot to me because Malta is where I learnt to play ten pin bowling. I cannot pretend to be very good at it but I could give a good game. The alley was down in Silema which at the time was the better area within Malta. On my return Sheila and I both went down to the alley in Torquay and I was able to show her how to play.
Portugal - Lisbon
Puerto Rico - San Juan
San Juan in Puerto Rico is a lovely place.
St Lucia
United States of America
New Bedford - Massachusetts
This is a city but quite a smal one compared to most US cities. It was an old Whaling village which has grown over time. The buildings are quaint and lots of the older ones are made of wood and painted in different pastel colours.
One of the places I visited while there was a whaling museum. The sailors used to pass their leisure time by engraving pictures onto the teeth of sperm whales. Theses engravings are very delicate.
Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s largest city, is notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and other American Revolutionary sites. Also iconic are the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, immortalized by Sylvester Stallone’s triumphant run in the film "Rocky."
Vieques
Vieques is a Caribbean island off Puerto Rico's eastern coast. It's known for boat tours of Bioluminescent Bay (or Mosquito Bay), where microorganisms give the water a blue-green glow. It also offers secluded beaches and snorkeling. Wild horses roam the countryside, much of which is preserved as the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge.
Its not a place that everybody knows so hopefully the map will make it easier to understand. As you can see its a very small island with little there but its like paradise.
